Keyes grows Wellington market share with latest acquisition

The Keyes Company is continuing its acquisition spending spree. The brokerage just closed on the purchase of Realty Elite The Palm Beaches in Wellington, following a string of deals over the past two years. Realty Elite, founded by David Lopez in 2007, closed on $92 million in sales volume in 2016, according to a press release. It adds 64 agents to Keyes. A company tied to billionaire Laurene Powell Jobs just spent $8.25 million for land next to her Wellington estate, property records show. Elite Equestrian Estates sold the 7.2-acre plot at 13700 Quarter Horse Trail to Palo Alto, California-based Even Stride LLC, which is tied to Powell Jobs, the widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
