A newly built house in Naples that appears to float on a lake has been listed for sale for $9.975 million.
The 10,300-square-foot house is engineered to cantilever over its own private lake. More than 280 pilings under the house support its structure.
The developers are James W. Bates, a sales associate of Naples-based Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, and Lime International Developments.
Gerald Yurk of Architecture Artistica designed the contemporary house at 2211 South Winds Drive in Naples. Lime International Décor furnished it.
The house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an office, and a powder room. The living area features 300-foot ceilings with walls of glass.
Other features include a 50-foot lap pool, a 3,500-square-foot deck, an oversized three-car garage, and a covered outdoor living area with a fireplace, grill, and kitchen. – Mike Seemuth
